A hub built by people who run live television

headlinejo brings working broadcast professionals together to share the techniques that keep news programmes, interviews and live shows on air.

Television studio with cameras ready for a live broadcast

Why we exist

Too many production teams learn live television by surviving it. Equipment is bought before the signal flow is understood, cameras are framed by habit, and rooms are left to echo because nobody had time to treat them.

We created this hub to close that gap. Our courses cover studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation and lighting, and tie them together with the production processes that make a programme dependable from the first cue to the final credits.

How we teach

  • Practice before theory

Every concept is tried on real cameras, desks and consoles before we explain the reasoning behind it.

  • Reliability over flair

We teach repeatable processes first, so creative choices land cleanly when the programme is live.

  • Whole-gallery thinking

Camera, sound, light and direction are trained together, because live television is a team sport.

  • Honest feedback

Small cohorts mean every trainee is reviewed on their own run-through, with notes they can act on.

Training in a working gallery

Sessions take place in partner studios and in your own facility if you prefer. Trainees rotate through camera, vision mixing, sound and floor management so each person understands what the rest of the team needs from them.
